Thappalampuliyur is a village situated 5 km south east of Thiruvarur in Tamil Nadu, India. The village has a one-thousand-year-old Siva temple. Lord Shiva is known as Vyagrapuriswara and Goddess Parvathi is known as Nithya Kalyani Amman. There is an east-facing Saniswara Bhagavan Sannadhi which is unique in the temple. Ega Patha Rudrar sannidhi facing north is another speciality in the temple. There is a big tank in front of the temple.
There is also a Perumal temple known as Varadharaja Perumal in the western side of the village.
the month of aani (tamil ), kulunthalamman temple festival is very famous around the villages.. this year that festival conducted date is august 18,19,20.
