The 36 is a bus service operated by Transdev in Harrogate running between Ripon, Harrogate and Leeds. The service was re-launched in 2004 at a cost of £2.25 million. In February 2008, the service featured in several BBC News television reports outlining the increasing popularity of bus travel in the UK. In 2011, the fleet was re-engineered and remodelled with a new livery and some buses were borrowed from Yorkshire Coastliner as temporary replacements.

Fleet

The fleet consists of 14 Volvo B7TL double-decker vehicles with a Wright Eclipse Gemini body equipped with spacious leather seats & a B7RLE single deck vehicle with a Wright Eclipse Urban body. Each vehicle features unique red and black paintwork with the "36" logo.
