The Crazy World of Julius Vrooder is a 1974 film from Playboy Enterprises directed by Arthur Hiller and produced by Hugh Hefner. This was the final film for actor George Marshall.[2]

Plot

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. A Vietnam veteran who lives at the V.A. Hospital escapes and builds an underground fortress next to the highway. He keeps it decent and plans some other actions, including getting free light and phone service. While a few people and the police try to find him, Vrooder finds love with a doctor (Barbara Hershey).
