The Disruption was the first release by American indie rock band Cursive and was released in 1996 on Lumberjack Records, and was re-released in 1997 with alternative cover art, when Lumberjack changed their name to Saddle Creek. The only format it was available in was 7".[1]
The songs were later put on the compilation, The Difference Between Houses and Homes in 2005.
