Music Music is a rich and engaging program of classroom and extra-curricular activities. Every student in the Primary School, including Prep students, learns a musical instrument and participate in classroom music lessons. From Year 7 Music is an elective that inspires students through the use of keyboards, guitars and computer technology.

Through Choirs, Concert Bands and String Ensembles, private music lessons and highly dedicated staff, we have established strong foundations for a highly reputable program. Regular performances are part of the culture at The Lakes College.

Visual Art Visual Art provides opportunities for self-expression through a variety of mediums. All students in the Primary School engage in art lessons with specialist staff in our new art classrooms that nurture creativity and display student talent.

Drama The development of self-confidence and communication skills are at the heart of Drama studies which are embedded in the whole curriculum in the Primary School and studied as an elective from Year 7. Students develop their capacity to create, present and appreciate through this medium of expression.

Dance TLC Dancers is a performance dance group, providing opportunities for dancers to perform at regular Assemblies and events held at the College. Dance is also an elective offered from Year 7 in the Secondary School. In addition, whole school dance programs are organised for all students.
