History

The US$400 million complex opened in 2008 and has 800 hotel rooms, 18,000 square feet of meeting space.[4] Its opening date was delayed by a September 2007 fire that damaged portions of its exterior.[5] The Water Club completed Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s $600 million master plan development.[6]

Standing 457-feet-tall,[7] the hotel includes direct access to and from Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and includes four swimming pools and 800 water-view guestrooms and suites.[8]

Located on the 32nd and 33rd floors, Immersion Spa at The Water Club, is 36,000-square-foot with floor-to-ceiling windows. The Spa has 180-degree ocean views, a 25-yard infinity-edge lap pool and a total of 16 treatment rooms.[9]

The Spa, spa lounge and spa poolside bar menu is by Chef Geoffrey Zakarian.[10]

The hotel's 18,000 square feet (1,700 m2) of meeting and event space includes two glass-enclosed boardrooms; three additional boardrooms and eight meeting rooms.[11]
