The Weir is a collection of fifty-six poems by the internationally celebrated and prize-winning author, Peter Dickinson.

Description

Peter Dickinson has been writing poetry for as long as he can remember. In the 1950s and 1960s, he was the resident poet at Punch where he wrote over two hundred poems. After he left the magazine to embark on his second career as a novelist, he continued to write poetry for pleasure and for the occasional commission. The Weir is a selection of his favourite and most memorable poems. Organised into four sections, the selection covers first, deeply personal poems; second, those he wrote chiefly to amuse himself or others; third, poems written for children; and finally a selection poems from the Punch days.

This signed and numbered hardback limited edition of a hundred copies was published in December 2007. A paperback edition was published simultaneously.
