Witherspoon Lodge No. 111 Free and Accepted Masons (F&AM) was a Prince Hall Masonic Masonic Lodge in Mount Dora, Florida. Its historic building, known by the same names, survives and is located is at 1410 North Clayton Street in Mount Dora, Florida. In 2009 the building was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.[1]
The building was bought by the Masons in 1903.[citation needed] The building was the home for many years to the Witherspoon Lodge, a Prince Hall tradition lodge chartered by the Union Grand Lodge of Florida, but in 2013 the lodge is listed as inactive.[3] The building also served from 1922 to 1925 as a school for African-American children.[2]
