Theo van den Boogaard

Theo van den Boogaard (born 25 March 1948 in Castricum[1]) is a Dutch cartoonist. He is the winner of the 1989 Stripschapprijs.[2]
He is best known for creating, along with Wim T. Schippers a comic strip based on Schippers' TV character Sjef van Oekel (played by Dolf Brouwers on the show). This comic too, was called "Sjef van Oekel".
He is homosexual and drew some examples of homo-erotic art.[3]
