Tobias Nickenig (born 1 August 1984, in Neuwied) is a German footballer who plays as a defender and is currently a free agent.

Career

In the 2005–06 season, Nickenig was called up for the first team of 1. FC Köln where he received little playing time and was eventually loaned out to Sportfreunde Siegen in the winter transfer window.[1] He left 1. FC Köln on 13 January 2009 and moved to Liechtenstein based club FC Vaduz of the Swiss Super League. After he was released on 1 July 2009 from FC Vaduz he signed on 9 July 2009 a one-year contract with VfL Osnabrück.[2]
