Too Much Texas were a band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, formed in the mid-eighties, and soon relocating to Oldham, Greater Manchester. They released one single on Ugly Man Records. Too Much Texas supported New Order, The House of Love and The Beloved, they released a retrospective record called Juvenilia on Newmemorabilia Records in 2006. Singer Tom Hingley went on to join Inspiral Carpets and now fronts Tom Hingley and the Lovers.
