Town and County Shopping Center is a part enclosed and part open-air mall located in Kettering, Ohio.

About Town and Country

The Town and Country Shopping Center has 74 spaces for shops and restaurants. It currently is anchored by Stein Mart, 2nd and Charles, Trader Joe's, and Roderer Shoe Center. The center has an enclosed portion containing 55 spaces and has an attached open-air section called the Village Shops which contain 23 shops and restaurants.[1]

The Town and Country Shopping Center is also home to Roderer Shoe Center, the largest shoe store in Ohio.[2]

Recent developments

In December 2014, the center announced that anchor stores were either relocating or expanding to make way for a major renovation of the center. Also, in March 2015, the center announced the addition of TJ Maxx to its existing mix of stores.[3]

The remodel calls for extensive changes to the shopping center’s interior, exterior, and parking lot. Trader Joe’s expansion will add 2,500 square feet to the specialty grocer's existing 10,000 square foot store, which is the Dayton area's only Trader Joe's.

Other improvements will include a new pedestrian breezeway that will connect the center to the Village Shops behind the center. A new outlot is being created for a future user at the corner of Stroop and Shroyer roads.
