Transmission: Fog of War, or just Transmission, is an American Graphic Novel written by Code Word: Geronimo and Iron Sky comic artist Gerry Kissell.
The comic is drawn by Image Comics and DC Comics artist Richard Bonk. Warriors, Inc., headed by Dale Dye, served as military technical advisors. The project was partially produced by Rob Vardaro.
Story
A clinical lab and a village on a remote Pacific island have stopped communicating with the outside world. Concerned about a possible level 4 outbreak, the Army sends a Special Forces team to escort a WHO doctor to assess the situation. They discover an ancient alien artifact was opened, and it has made the island a very dangerous place.
Publication history
Creator/Lead writer Gerry Kissell and the other contributors are veterans of the US Armed Forces, with half[1] of the book sales benefiting Military Warriors Support Foundation. The series intends to use their specialized expertise to aim for more dramatic realism. As of November 2017, two issues had been completed, with six others in various stages of production.
Reception
The first issue was well received.
