Trevor G. Browne High School is part of the Phoenix Union High School District and is the largest comprehensive high school in Phoenix. The campus is located at 7402 West Catalina Drive, United States. Trevor Browne's enrollment is just over 3,100 students, over 90 percent of whom are Hispanic.[2] The school predominantly serves students from partner elementary district Cartwright.

Facts

  • Trevor Browne is a C School, according to the Arizona Department of Education and has shown great gains in the areas of reading and writing over the last few school years as measured by Arizona's Instrument to Measure Academic Standards (AIMS).[3]
  • Browne students earned $1.5 thousand in 2008, including two Gates Millennium Scholars, two Flinn Scholarships and three Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards.
  • Adriana Delgado was named the City of Phoenix Outstanding Young Woman of the Year in 2008.[4]
  • The school was named after Trevor Goff Browne (July 6, 1891 - March 17, 1977), a local physician who served on the PUHSD Governing Board for 25 years.
