Since its founding in 1939 by a handful of Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania employees, TruMark Financial has grown to be a leader in the credit union industry.[citation needed] TruMark Financial provides savings, transaction, and credit services to over 100,000 members nationwide.[citation needed]

In an effort to help the community understand how TruMark Financial differs from big banks, TruMark Financial launched a branding image campaign in May 2010. The campaign included television commercials, radio commercials and billboard advertisements at various locations throughout Southeastern Pa.[citation needed]
