Twist Phelan is an American writer of crime fiction and former lawyer.[1] She is known for her Pinnacle Peak series and for her 2014 short story Footprints in Water, which has won an Arthur Ellis Award for Best Crime Short Story of the Year. Phelan is also an extreme sports enthusiast.
