The 2000 United States presidential election in Vermont took place on November 7, 2000 throughout all 50 states and D.C., which was part of the 2000 United States presidential election. Voters chose 3 representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for President and Vice President.

Vermont, in 2000, gave its 3 electoral votes to Vice President Al Gore who won the state by about 10 points over Texas Governor George W. Bush, while third-party candidate Ralph Nader took nearly 7% of the vote, his second-best showing in the country in terms of percentage of the vote. Gore's win in Vermont marked the third consecutive victory for Democrats in the Green Mountain State, and the last Republican candidate to win Vermont's three electoral votes was Bush's father, George H.W. Bush, in 1988. This election marked the first time in the Republican Party's history that a Republican nominee was elected without winning Vermont.
