The 1980 United States presidential election in Washington was held on November 4, 1980. Republican candidate Ronald Reagan won the state of Washington with 49.66% of the vote, carrying the state's 9 electoral votes. In the previous election in 1976, Reagan, who was not on the ballot in any of the 50 states, received one of Washington's electoral votes by faithless elector Mike Padden.
