He was made Staffelkapitän of 1./K 88 on October 2, 1937. During World War II, he served on the Staff of the 7th Fliegerdivision until June 14, 1939. He was also an advisor with the Inspector of Paratroops between January 1939 and December 1940. He lived in Mönchengladbach.[3] |

He served with the British Army in the Middle East during World War II. He was a member of the economic advisory staff of the Israeli government in the late 1950s and a political writer.[4] |

He enrolled in the British Army for three years and became a trained paramedic in the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC). He was made a citizen of the Spanish Republic before leaving the country in 1938.[5][6] |

He was transferred to a labor camp to work for the Vichy French. He was recognized by the Ministry of Defense of Spain in 1958. He was a teacher and writer. He lived in Newcastle.[15] |
Lipin Pavel Iosifovich | International Brigade | USSR | 25 September 1909 | 2006 (95) | Joined Red Army in 1932. He was discharged from the Spanish Civil War in November 1936. He served in the offices of military attaches. He was the commander of Tank unity since December 1936. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner and Red Star. From May to December 1937, he fought in the Vice-tank battalion of the Red Army. War veteran for Finland during World War II. He retired from the army as a colonel.[16] |
