WVCC (720 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a News/Talk format. Licensed to Hogansville, Georgia, USA. The station is currently owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., and features programming from Fox Sports Radio.[1]

Because it shares the same frequency as "clear channel" station WGN-AM in Chicago, Illinois, WVCC broadcasts only during the daytime hours.

History

The station went on the air as WMXY on September 18, 1984. The station changed its call sign to WGSE on July 12, 1999, and to the current WVCC on December 22, 2003,[2]
