Licensed to serve Marco Island, Florida, USA, the station is currently owned by Almodovar Media Corporation.[1] The station is repeated on W251BL 98.1 MHz; licensed to Everglades City and operating at Marco Island, the repeater serves the Marco Island area including Goodland and Isles of Capri.[2]

History

The station went on the air as WWWO on September 1, 1984. On July 8, 1985, the station changed its call sign to WMIB, on August 6, 1993 to WODX and on July 3, 2002 to the current WVOI.[3]
