Walter Elton Whittaker (June 11, 1894 – August 9, 1965) nicknamed "Doc", was an American professional baseball pitcher who played for one season. Whittaker was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, and graduated from Tufts University before pitching two innings in his only Major League Baseball appearance. He pitched for the Philadelphia Athletics in one game on July 6, 1916.
