Wath is a village and civil parish about 4 miles north of Ripon in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire, England and has a population of 186, increasing to 307 at the 2011 census.[1]

The parish church is dedicated to St Mary.[2]

Governance

Wath is part of the electoral ward of Wathvale. This ward stretches south to Norton-le-Clay with a total population taken at the 2011 Census of 3,479.[3]
