Wayne Madkin (born August 8, 1979) is a former American football quarterback who played for the Mississippi State Bulldogs in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001.[1]

He helped lead the Bulldogs to the 1998 SEC Championship Game and a 10-2 season in 1999, and quarterbacked in the three bowl games, the 1999 Cotton Bowl, 1999 Peach Bowl, and 2000 Independence Bowl, in which he scored the winning touchdown in overtime.[2] He was Mississippi State's all-time leading passer with 6,336 yards until the record was broken by Dak Prescott in 2015.
