WikiPock, a play on Wiki and pocket is a mobile application that provides offline access to Wikis such as Wikipedia on mobile phones and tablets. It was first announced by TechCrunch[1] on March 6, 2009. The software doesn't require an Internet connection to search the Wiki. WikiPock is available for the following platforms: Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, BlackBerry, PlayBook, Symbian OS and Windows Mobile. WikiPock exists in 25 languages, each with full text and no image. English Wikipedia takes around 3.5GB (less for the other languages). Software can be delivered on preloaded microSDHC memory cards or can be downloaded from the Internet. Updates are available every 3 or 4 months.

The languages currently available are (alphabetical order): Afrikaans, Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.
