William Nobrega is the founder and Managing Partner of The Conrad Group LLC, an emerging markets consulting firm that specializes in investment strategy, M&A advisory, and business strategy consulting. Mr Nobrega recently authored "Riding the Indian Tiger",[1] a book that was published by Wiley and has been released around the world.

Prior to founding the Conrad Group, Mr Nobrega worked with Deloitte & Touché Consulting, both in the European Union and the United States and was involved in numerous global mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning initiatives. A former member of Army Special Forces who handled military operations in Kurdistan, Mr Nobrega's academic background includes a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Leuven and a bachelor's degree from Ohio University.[citation needed]

Mr Nobrega's areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, private equity and emerging market strategic planning work in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Mr Nobrega has advised clients on numerous direct and indirect investments in the emerging markets in a wide range of industry segments to include: Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Renewable Energy and Distribution & Logistics.

Mr Nobrega is a frequent contributor on CNN, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and Bloomberg for his expertise on China, India and Brazil. Mr Nobrega has appeared as a guest on CNBC's Squawk on the Street to speak about the Indian Market. He recently authored a controversial two-part series in BusinessWeek that details why India will outperform China. He is a frequent guest on Bizradio and actively speaks at conferences around the world.
