William S. Farish IV

William Stamps Farish IV (born c.1963) is an American businessman and son of Sarah Sharp and her husband William Stamps Farish III. He is best known as "Bill Farish" or "William S. Farish, Jr."

Bill Farish is a 1987 graduate of the University of Virginia and was a personal aide to President George H. W. Bush. He has worked in the commercial and investment banking sectors and is an executive vice president and director of the W.S. Farish & Co. investment management company in Houston, Texas.

From a very prominent family of Thoroughbred racehorse owners and breeders through their Lane's End Farm in Versailles, Kentucky, he serves as the farm's general manager and director of sales. His maternal grandfather was Bayard Sharp, a widely respected Delaware horseman and a member of the Du Pont family.

Bill Farish is a member of The Jockey Club and Chairman and Director of Breeders' Cup Limited. He also is founder and manager of Woodford Racing LLC, an operation that puts together partners to acquire and race Thoroughbreds.

Bill Farish has eight children with Kelley Farish.
