William Thoresson (born May 31, 1932) is a Swedish gymnast and Olympic champion.

Championships

Thoresson competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, where he received a gold medal in floor exercises.[1] He received a silver medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne.

He received a bronze medal in floor exercise at the 1954 world championship.

Awards

Thoresson was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2001.[2]
