Winifred Maddock (née Ryle, born 1897)[1] was a British architect.
Life
After school in Brighton, she trained at Architectural Association School of Architecture from 1917, where she was one of the first four female students. She married Richard Henry Maddock, also an architect, in 1924. Together they designed buildings at Sutton, Surrey, and Pangbourne, Berkshire.[2] Ryle was an active member of the Sutton chapter of South London Quakers.[3]
