Woldgate College is a secondary school and sixth form on Kilnwick Road in Pocklington, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The school is Local Authority funded, and educates approximately 1,400 pupils aged 11 to 18.

Woldgate College has been in existence since the 1950s, educating children from Pocklington and its surrounding villages.

The school was awarded[when?] specialist status and received a grant for developing performing arts. A new music block was built,[when?] which included a recording studio, practice rooms and a dance studio.[citation needed]

The school teaching is under the National Curriculum, and includes Mandarin in the Sixth Form.

Facilities include a remote learning video conferencing suite and more than 800 computers, with the library (Independent Learning Centre) having been converted into a room for homework assistance and computer access. Other facilities are a gymnasium, a multi-use hall, fitness suite, tennis/netball courts, and a playing field used for football, rugby and athletics. Some pupils attend local clubs including those for rugby and swimming.[citation needed]

Woldgate College received press attention in 2003 over an arson attack, and in 2011 over a teacher's conviction following a sexual relationship with a pupil.[1][not in citation given][2][not in citation given][3]
