Wootton Manor
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
Wootton Manor is a Jacobean country house in Folkington, East Sussex. The current buildings are situated on the site of a mediaeval manor house.[1] Rupert Gwynne and his wife settled in the house after their marriage in 1905, and later commissioned Detmar Blow to restore and extend the house and add outbuildings.[2] The cookery writer Elizabeth David, and her three sisters, grew up in this house.
The central building has been listed as Grade II* by English Heritage.[3]
