Xu Jianguo

Xu Jianguo (Chinese: 许建国) (September 1903 – 4 October 1977) was a Chinese diplomat. He was born in Hubei Province. He was China's Ambassador to Romania (1959–1964) and Albania (1964–1967). During the Cultural Revolution, he was imprisoned in Beijing's Qincheng Prison. In 1975, while hospitalized in Lu'an, Anhui, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He died Hefei, Anhui.
