Yoo Seong-min[lower-alpha 1] (유승민, born January 7, 1958) is a South Korean economist and politician. He is son of late Daegu court chief attorney and parliament member Yoo Soo-ho. He graduated from Seoul National University for Bachelor's degree of economics, and studied abroad at University of Wisconsin–Madison for Ph.D in economics, especially industry organization theory.

He was elected as member of the parliament three times, since 2004.

He was the floor leader for the Saenuri Party in the National Assembly. He resigned from the position in July 2015.[1][2] After being deselected in the party's nominations process, he stood as an independent in the 2016 general election and was elected. He stated after the election in interview that he would return to the Saenuri Party.[3]
