The seventh Canadian Professional Soccer League season began on May 24, 2004 and concluded on October 11, 2004 with Toronto Croatia claiming their second Rogers Cup victory.

Changes from 2003 season
- The revocation of the Ottawa Wizards, and the Durham Flames.
- The Laval Dynamites went on hiatus.
- Windsor Border Stars began play as an expansion franchise in the Western Conference.
- The Mississauga Olympians were sold, and played under the name Durham Storm.
