The 2009–10 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represented the University of Idaho during the 2009–10 college basketball season. This was head coach Don Verlin's second season at Idaho. The Vandals are members of the Western Athletic Conference and played their home games at the Cowan Specturm. They finished the season 15–16, 6–10 in WAC play and lost in the quarterfinals of the 2010 WAC Men's Basketball Tournament to Nevada.

Pre-season

In the WAC preseason polls, released October 20 via media teleconference, Idaho was selected to finish 4th in both the media and coaches poll and Senior guard Mac Hobson was selected to the All-WAC first team by both the media and coaches.[1]
