The 2010 New Zealand National Basketball League season was the 29th running of the competition. In 2010, the Southland Sharks begun their first season in the competition, the Otago Nuggets returned after a one-year absence, and the Auckland Stars were suspended due to financial problems.

The regular season began on Thursday 4 March and concluded on Friday 19 June. The playoffs began on Tuesday 22 June, with the Wellington Saints eventually winning the season after a three-game finals series with the Waikato Pistons. Saints' guard Lindsay Tait was recognised as the most valuable player of the regular season and of the finals series.
