The 2015–16 season is Galatasaray's 113rd in existence and 59th consecutive season in the Süper Lig. They will be aiming for an unprecedented 21th League title, after finishing the Süper Lig sixth place in previous season.

In Europe, Galatasaray will not be present in any competition. They will compete in a domestic cup, the Turkish Cup.

  • On 27 May 2016, it is announced that midfielder Emre Çolak is transferred to Deportivo.[1]
  • On 28 May 2016, Galatasaray revealed the pre-season summer camp schedule. The camp schedule for the Galatasaray professional football team prior to the next football season begins on July 10 at the Switzerland.[2]
