Adrian Healey

Adrian Healey is an English football commentator, currently working with ESPN with their broadcasts of the Brasileirao, Major League Soccer, Premier League, Primeira Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A. He was part of the ESPN commentary team in South Africa for the 2010 World Cup. He has also been a fill in host for Derek Rae on ESPN's Soccernet PressPass.
Broadcasting career
Healey started work in the USA in Boston as a mid day DJ on WFNX then WBCN. He then got a TV job commentating for the New England Revolution, replacing the departing Derek Rae. He left the Revolution to join ESPN, where he started with play-by-play commentary with Robbie Mustoe on ESPN2's alternate broadcast of UEFA Champions League play.
Healey served as a play by play announcer for NBC Sports' coverage of soccer at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[1]
He currently serves as lead announcer for ESPN's coverage of Major League Soccer (MLS). During the summer of 2011, he took a break from his MLS duties to work alongside Kate Markgraf on the network's secondary broadcast team for the FIFA Women's World Cup telecasts.[2]
Personal life
Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Healey is from Swindon in Wiltshire, England[3] and is a Swindon Town fan. Swindon Town are currently in League 1 of the Football League in England, which is the third tier of English football. He was bass player in the band The American Measles, who released one album, Shover The Cupcake, on Aquabug Records in 1997.
Healey currently lives in West Hartford, Connecticut with his wife and two children.
