Ahrue Luster, born September 17, 1968 in Chicago, is an American metal guitarist. He is the current lead guitarist for the Latin metal band Ill Niño.[1] He is also the former guitarist for Machine Head,[2][3] as well as Manmade God and a Bay Area thrash metal act called The Horde of Torment who were originally called "Pestilence" but had to change their name because another Pestilence had signed to Roadrunner Records.[citation needed]
In 2015, Luster formed the band Terror Universal with Ill Niño drummer and bandmate Dave Chavarri.[4] He will produce Motograter's second studio album, set for release in 2016.[5]
