AnTuTu
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
AnTuTu (Chinese: 安兔兔; pinyin: ĀnTùTu) is a Chinese software benchmarking tool commonly used to benchmark phones and devices based on the ARM architecture.[1][2]
Operations
The company developing the software is based in Chaoyang District, Beijing,[3] and was cofounded by Chinese entrepreneurs Shào Yīng (邵英)[4] and Liáng Bīn (梁斌).[5]
Circumvention
Because the AnTuTu benchmark is so common, hardware manufacturers have taken to cheating on the benchmark which makes the benchmark unreliable.[6][7] In response to this cheating AnTuTu has created a new benchmark, called AnTuTu X, which makes it more difficult for manufacturers to cheat.[7][8][9]
