Andrew East (born September 17, 1991) is an American football long snapper with the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. He played college football at Vanderbilt.

Professional career

Kansas City Chiefs

After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, he signed with the Chiefs in May 2015.[1] He was released from the Chiefs on August 31, 2015.[2]

Seattle Seahawks

He signed a future free agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks in January 2016.[3] He was waived on March 24, 2016.[4]

Oakland Raiders

He was signed by the Oakland Raiders on April 5, 2016.[5]

Personal life

Andrew East is married to Olympic Gold Medal Gymnast Shawn Johnson. East and Johnson were engaged on July 24, 2015 at Wrigley Field during a Chicago Cubs game,[6] and were married on April 16, 2016.[7]
