Antony Alfred Lyttelton, 2nd Viscount Chandos (23 October 1920 – 28 November 1980) was a British soldier and peer[1][2] from the Lyttelton family.
Born the son of the first Viscount Chandos and Lady Moira Chandos née Osborne, Chandos was educated at Eton and then Trinity College, Cambridge.[1][2] Chandos served in the General Staff during World War II in the Mediterranean from 1942–45, where he was mentioned in despatches.[1] After the war, in 1950 Chandos joined the stockbrockers Panmure Gordon & Co. where he stayed until 1975.[1]
Chandos married Lady Caroline Mary Lascelles, daughter of Sir Alan Lascelles, by whom he had two sons and two daughters, the eldest of whom, Thomas, became the third Viscount on his death.[1][2]
