Atlantic Division (RHI)

RHI's Atlantic Division was formed in 1994 as part of the Eastern Conference in a league realignment, the predecessor of which was the Murphy Division.

Changes from the 1993 season

  • The Atlantic Division is formed as a result of RHI expansion and realignment
  • The Florida Hammerheads came from the Murphy Division
  • The Buffalo Stampede, Montreal Roadrunners, New Jersey Rockin Rollers, Philadelphia Bulldogs, and Tampa Bay Tritons were added as expansion teams

1995

  • Montreal Roadrunners
  • New Jersey Rockin Rollers
  • Orlando Rollergators
  • Ottawa Loggers
  • Philadelphia Bulldogs

Changes from the 1994 season

  • The Florida Hammerheads, and Tampa Bay Tritons folded
  • The Buffalo Stampede moved to the Central Division
  • The Edmonton Sled Dogs, who came from the Northwest Division, moved to Orlando, Florida and became the Orlando Rollergators
  • The New England Stingers, who came from the Central Division, moved to Ottawa, Ontario and became the Ottawa Loggers

1996

  • Empire State Cobras
  • Long Island Jawz
  • New Jersey Rockin Rollers
  • Orlando Jackals
  • Philadelphia Bulldogs

Changes from the 1995 season

  • The Montreal Roadrunners, and Ottawa Loggers moved to the Central Division
  • The Phoenix Cobras, who came from the Pacific Division, moved to Glens Falls, New York and became the Empire State Cobras
  • The Orlando Rollergators were sold and changed their name to the Orlando Jackals
  • The Long Island Jawz were added as an expansion team
