Collide is an upcoming 2016 American-German action film directed by Eran Creevy and written by Eran Creevy and F. Scott Frazier. The film stars Nicholas Hoult, Felicity Jones, Marwan Kenzari, Ben Kingsley, and Anthony Hopkins. The film is scheduled to be released on August 19, 2016, by Open Road Films.

Cast

Production

On May 15, 2013, Zac Efron and Amber Heard joined the cast, before later dropping out.[1] On May 1, 2014, Nicholas Hoult, Ben Kingsley, Felicity Jones and Anthony Hopkins joined the cast.[2] Principal photography began on May 5, 2014.[3] On November 3, 2014, Relativity Media acquired the film.[4]

Release

The film was scheduled to be released on October 30, 2015, by Relativity Media.[5] However, when Relativity filed for bankruptcy, producers had put the film back on the market.[6] in September 2015, it was announced Open Road Films would distribute the film apart of an audit statement.[7] In October 2015, Open Road set an April 1, 2016, release date for the film.[8] It was then pushed back to August 19.[9]
