Pan American Games appearances (overview)

Bermuda competed in the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada from July 10 to 26, 2015.[1] In April 2015, Carlos Lee was named as the chef de mission for the team.[2]

A final squad of seventeen athletes (nine men and eight women) over seven sports was announced on June 16, 2015 by the Bermuda Olympic Association.[3][4] Swimmer Julian Fletcher was the flagbearer for the team during the opening ceremony.[5]

Bermuda qualified a total of six athletes (five men and one woman).[3] On 11 Jul 2015 it was announced that their female athlete, Shianne Smith, was cut from the team after new qualifying standards were implemented.[6]

Sailing

Bermuda qualified one sailor in the laser standard event.[12] The country later received a wildcard in the laser event.[13][14]
