Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) is an engineering college affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. It was opened in 2007 in Rohini, Delhi, India.[1]

The institute was founded by the Bhartiya Brahmin Charitable Trust in 2005. The institute is approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and the Directorate of Training and Technical Education, Government of National Capital Territory, Delhi.[2] It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and offers courses of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Master of Business Administration (MBA), which are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Location

The institute is located in Rohini Sector-17 on Dr, K.N. Katju Marg. BPIT has a campus of over 5.64 acres (22,800 m2) and is 2.5 km from Rithala Metro Station through Metro Walk Road. The buildings have four stories.

Infrastructure

BPIT has classrooms, a drawing hall, laboratories, a computer center, playground for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, workshops and a conference/seminar hall having provision of PA system, individual microphones and a LCD/Plasma projection system. The college has girls hostel but no boys hostel.

Festivals

'Corona', the annual cultural festival of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, is generally held in the last week of March. The festival is celebrated on an inter college level and there are participants from many other colleges as well. Faridkot, a popular rock band, had a live performance in 2011. In 2012, Juggy D and Bollywood DJ, DJ Suketu were the part of the star night of the program. In 2013, the famous singer Rabbi Shergill performed for the spectators. In 2014, Ijazat fame Falak Shabir performed in the Star Night event of the festival, the theme of the festival was "The Carnival". In 2015, Corona was the host for Femina Miss India Campus Princess Auditions. Also, the Saturday Saturday fame Indeep Bakshi added joy and happiness among the people with his presence.
