Bijjargi is a village in the State of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Bijapur taluk of Bijapur district in Karnataka.

Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census, Bijjargi had a population of 6264 with 3189 males and 3075 females.Well known person Living god "Siddheshwara Swamiji" Jnyanayogashram Bijapur birthplace as well. This village is famous for grapes cultivation all over India. .[1]
Agriculture
The village mainly grows grapes, maize, and sorgham (jawar), as well as small amounts of pomegrante, lemons, onions, and turmeric. Irrigation occurs via water canals and wells. It is said that even Sugarcane was cultivate decades ago.
Economy
Farming and agriculture related business is the main occupation for many people in the village. The cropping pattern in the village reveals that food crops like jowar, maize, bajra and wheat among cereals, red gram, Bengal gram and green gram among pulses are major crops cultivated in the village. The major oilseed crops are sunflower, groundnut and safflower. Horticulture crops like grapes, pomegranate, ber, guave sapota, lime are also grown.

- Shri Siddeshwara Swamiji - Shri siddeshwara swamiji famously known as Buddiji or appagolu is born in Bijjargi and had spent his childhood in the village. Now Buddji resides in Jnanyogashram in Vijayapur
- Ishwarachandra Chintamani - Kannada writer and poet Ishwarachandra Chintamani who resides in Vijayapur now, hails from Bijjargi.
- Bhāskara II - It is believed that Bhaskaracharya II is born in Bijjargi village.
