"Buried in Detroit" is a song by American singer Mike Posner and a follow-up to his international hit, the SeeB remixed version of "I Took a Pill in Ibiza". The song "Buried in Detroit" appears on Posner's second studio album, At Night, Alone.. The autobiographical lyrics are dedicated to Detroit, Posner's hometown showing his affectionate attachment to his city of birth.
Release
Like "I Took a Pill in Ibiza", the official release for "Buried in Detroit" is a remix as well, this one by Lucas Löwe. The remix also features additional rap verses by American rapper Big Sean. The remix is a mix between an alternative folk and country song, and hip hop urban influences.[1]
