CRAG-VT (Climbing Resource Access Group Vermont) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to preserving access and conservation of Vermont's rock and ice climbing resources. It is an Access Fund Local Climber Organization (LCO).

Mission

CRAG-VT advocates on behalf of the Vermont climbing community by building and maintaining long-term relationships with landowners, land managers, and the general public. The organization provides educational resources, historical information, and outreach on threatened species and habitat protection. CRAG-VT promotes responsible land stewardship and works to reduce environmental impacts by conducting trail maintenance events, volunteer clean-ups, and by teaching leave-no-trace ethics.

Climbing areas

Since its incorporation in 2002, CRAG-VT has acquired three climbing areas in Bolton, Vermont: Lower West Bolton Cliff, Upper West Bolton Cliff, and the Bolton Quarry. In 2009, CRAG-VT began a project to acquire the cliff known as the Carcass Crag by a boundary adjustment on their Bolton Quarry property.
