Cameron Leslie, MNZM (born 17 January 1990 in Whangarei, New Zealand)[1] is a New Zealand paralympics swimmer, most notable for his performance at the 2008 Summer Paralympics, winning a gold medal in the men's 150 m individual medley, in which his time of 2:33.57 broke the previous world record by over a second.[2]

Leslie is a student at Auckland University of Technology and has a quadruple limb deficiency. In 2008 Leslie said he may leave swimming to play wheelchair rugby in later games,[3] but he did not realise that plan. Instead, he returned for the 2012 Summer Paralympics, again winning a gold medal in men's 150 m individual medley, and beating his own world record with the time 2:25.98.[4]

In 2013, Leslie won the gold medal in the men's 150 m individual medley, and a bronze medal in the men's 50 m backstroke, at the IPC Swimming World Championships in Montreal.[5][6]
